In the year 2008, Mashhoor directed the movie titled as Humsey Hai Jahaan whose story is based on romance and comedy. This movie was filmed under the production banner of Tajdar Amrohi. The artists namely Mashhoor Amrohi, Jackie Shroff, and Vishakha Singh performed in the lead roles. Most prominently, he is the grandson of the well-known filmmaker as well as writer – Kamal Amrohi. However, this movie provided the great platform to work as an actor, scriptwriter, and director. The whole movie was filmed in Singapore and tends to be a high-budget movie. Most evidently, Mashhoor played the lead role with a character name as Sameer Khanna. Consequently, in the year 2010, he directed the movie – Crook: It’s Good to be Bad along with playing the lead role in the same. Additionally, he has also got the opportunity to perform in the minor role in the movie titled as Ek Number Ka Chor in the year 1990. 

 

Subsequently, when he was 24 years old, he decided to direct another movie Hum Laakh Chhupayein Pyaar…Magar. In addition, he will also write the story script and perform in the lead role. Moreover, he is working with another director David Dhawan and proclaimed that he does not want to portray only as the director. During his times of working for the movie Crook, he impressed the director of the movie – Moti Suri.
