Manushi Chhillar is an Indian beauty pageant titleholder and a model. She had won the Fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2017 crown and is crowned with Miss World 2017. She brings back the title to India after 17 years, last was grabbed by Priyanka Chopra in 2000. She is the 6th Indian to win the Miss world title after Reita Faria, Aishwarya Rai, Diana Hayden, Yukta Mookhey and Priyanka Chopra.

 

She attended St. Thomas' School, New Delhi. She belongs to a family with a medical education background. She also decided to follow the path and is studying a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women, Sonipat, Haryana. Apart from that, she carries interest in dancing and acting. She is trained under famous dancers Kaushalya Reddy and Raja and Radha Reddy. She attended National School of Drama.

 

She represented Haryana state in June 2017 at Femina Miss India 2017. She won the Miss Photogenic title and won the Femina Miss India 2017 title as well. This win earned her an opportunity to be an Indian representative for the Miss World 2017.She reached to semifinals in People's Choice, Multimedia competitions, and Top Model competitions. She won the ‘Head to Head’ challenge. She was the winner for the ‘‘Beauty With A Purpose’ competition. She worked for project Shakti under ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ and visited twenty villages and spread an awareness in around 5,000 women from the villages about menstrual hygiene. She succeeded Stephanie Del Valle (Winner of Miss World 2016). Her mother and Sushmita Sen are her inspiration. She has already become a social media sensation with nearly 50k twitter followers and around 400K followers on Instagram.
