Anil Devgan, well-known Director, Screenwriter in the Bollywood film industry is the eldest son of famous stunt master Veeru Devgan and brother of Omkara fame actor Ajay Devgan and Brother in the law of sensational film actor Kajol. Despite so many big names associated with him, he couldn’t have been able to leave his mark so far. He did his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Delhi, and graduated from the Bhagat Singh College, Delhi. Since Childhood, he has been interested in stories and holds a creative mind.

 

He loves music and is a trained Tabla and Martial arts holder, but later moved to the entertainment industry. He has worked as an assistant director of many of his brother movies like Jaan, Pyaar Tho Hona Hi Tha, Hindustan Ki Kasam, etc. during the 1990s. Although, He made his debut as a Director in 2000 with Raja Chachu, Blackmail, and Haal-e-Dil. He has also worked as a Creative Director for the comedy film Son of Sardar and for the suspense-thriller film Shivaay.

 

He is planning to make remakes of the old Bollywood movie – Do Aur Do Paanch. He has a talent and his film Raju Chacha is an answer to it. It was the most expensive movie at that time and for the very first in India, a lot of animation work was used in it. The movie received Screen Award for best animation and was nominated for the best film, Best Action, and for best art direction. Anil’s work was highly appreciated and was quoted in newspapers as a Promising Director of the Film Industry.
